## What We Treat

We treat adults struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns, including:

- Opioid addiction (heroin, prescription opioids, fentanyl)
- Fentanyl addiction and fentanyl rehab

We do not provide on-site medical detox or residential inpatient care directly. We coordinate referrals to trusted licensed detox and residential providers in Maine and continue with outpatient therapy, groups, and case management after a higher level of care.

## Levels of Care

- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): Day treatment with structured clinical programming for people stepping down from detox/residential or needing more support than IOP.
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): Flexible evening and daytime groups for people balancing work, school, or family.
- Virtual IOP: Online IOP sessions for Maine residents with reliable internet and a private space.
- Outpatient Program (OP): Weekly individual and group sessions for ongoing recovery support.
- Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Coordination: We partner with trusted local prescribers for Suboxone, methadone, Vivitrol, and related medications while providing therapy, groups, and recovery support.
- Dual Diagnosis: Co-occurring mental health support integrated into substance use treatment.

Portland Treatment is in-network with nearly every major insurance plan in Maine, including Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, UMR/UnitedHealthcare, Harvard Pilgrim (Point32Health), Martin's Point, Aetna, TRICARE, Community Health Options, and MaineCare (Medicaid). Cigna is the only major payer we are out-of-network with; Cigna members are billed under out-of-network benefits and we pursue single-case agreements where possible. Being in-network means care is billed at the plan's contracted rate, with lower coinsurance and no balance billing.
