Privacy policy
Effective November 7, 2026 · Notice version 2026-11-07
Your privacy matters when you seek help. This policy explains information collected through Portland Treatment’s website and your choices. We never sell your data. Website privacy choices are separate from consent to treatment and permissions governing clinical records.
Information you provide
Contact, insurance and availability forms may collect your name, phone number, email address, insurance information and details you choose to share about your inquiry. Katie’s conversations may include the information you type. Please avoid unnecessary medical or sensitive details in website messages.
We use inquiries to respond, check benefits and discuss treatment options. Before submitting a lead form, you must affirmatively agree to contact by phone, text or email. We retain the disclosure, acceptance time and identifying contact information with the inquiry. This contact permission is not advertising consent, an authorization to disclose clinical records or a condition of treatment or purchase.
Necessary website services
Hosting, security and form delivery process technical information needed to operate this site, such as IP addresses and browser details. We store privacy choices, a random browser identifier, notice version, region and timestamped history in your browser’s local storage. These choices persist until changed or browser storage is cleared. Browser storage may be unavailable in some browsing modes.
Analytics and advertising signals
When analytics is permitted, Google Analytics 4 receives pathname-only page views and generic actions to measure use of the website. We do not send form fields, names, contact details, insurance answers, chat content or health answers in analytics events. Query strings and fragments are excluded from our page-view reporting. Page paths can still indicate the topic viewed, and Google processes technical device and network information.
GA4 uses Consent Mode. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization signals are always denied; Google signals and ad personalization are disabled in our installation. We do not enable customer matching or upload inquiry identifiers to advertising platforms. Our controlled analytics installation reports directly rather than loading an unreviewed tag-manager container.
Marketing and call tracking
With call-tracking permission, CallTrackingMetrics may replace displayed phone numbers with tracking numbers so our team can understand where calls originate. It may process visit attribution, IP and browser details, call time, caller number and call routing information. Calling us necessarily provides call information even if website tracking is off. This website’s consent controls do not govern telephone-network records. Recording, if used, requires appropriate notice and is not enabled by this website feature.
Disabling call tracking after it has loaded reloads the page to stop its code and restore the ordinary website experience. We never send lead-form or health fields to analytics providers.
External media
Elfsight review widgets and any embedded YouTube videos or Google Maps load only when your effective privacy choices permit external media. When allowed, providers can receive your IP address, browser details and information about interaction with their content under their own privacy policies. Videos require a separate play action; accepting privacy choices does not automatically start a video. First-party images do not require external-media permission.
Defaults, Global Privacy Control and withdrawal
Analytics, call tracking and external media default on where consent is not required, unless you have refused them or your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC). In regions requiring consent, or when location cannot be verified, optional services stay off until you agree. GPC overrides previously saved optional permissions while enabled; it cannot be bypassed through Customize.
Use the accessibility/person icon at the bottom-left or the button below to accept, reject or customize choices. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Opening settings does not change your current choice. Withdrawal stops new reporting and, when necessary, reloads the page; events previously blocked are never replayed. Changes apply to other open tabs. Withdrawal cannot erase information already received by a provider or cookies this website cannot access.
Inquiries and service providers
Our admissions team and authorized service providers receive information necessary to handle your inquiry. Lovable Cloud supports website hosting, private consent records and notification delivery. When configured, Dazos CRM receives inquiry details and contact-permission evidence. Katie sends conversations to Lovable’s AI service to generate replies; do not use chat for emergencies or as a substitute for clinical care. Necessary inquiry processing is separate from optional tracking.
Access to consent evidence is restricted. We retain inquiry and permission information as needed to respond, document your choice and meet applicable obligations, rather than claiming a fixed period that may not apply to clinical records. Contact us to ask about access, corrections or deletion, subject to required retention.
Privacy questions
Contact Portland Treatment at 855-449-7674, admissions@portlandtreatment.com, or 6 Digital Drive, Biddeford, ME 04005. Ask for the person responsible for privacy questions. To withdraw contact permission, tell our team; changing cookie choices alone does not withdraw your inquiry’s contact permission.
This website is intended for people seeking treatment information, not for children to submit information independently. We may update this policy as services change; the effective date and notice version identify the text shown with saved choices.
Saved-choice disclosure
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 receives pathname-only page views and generic actions for measurement, with advertising signals denied. CallTrackingMetrics receives visit and call attribution data for marketing and call tracking. Elfsight and any external players receive IP and browser details only with external-media permission. We never sell your data or send form or health details to analytics. Choices can be withdrawn using Privacy choices.
